வைகாசி மாதத்தில் வரும் விசாக நட்சத்திரத்தில் விசாக தினமாக ஸ்ரீ துர்க்கை அம்மனுக்கு   சுமங்கலி பூஜை, ஆராதனை, ஸ்ரீ துர்க்கை அம்மன் சிறப்பு பூஜை ஆலயம் வலம் வருதல் போன்ற வைபவம் நடத்தப்படுகிறது.

On the day of the Vesaka star in the Tamil month of Vaikasi, Sumangali Poojai (Prayers for Married Women), Aradhanai (Light worship), special prayers are performed for Sri Durgai Amman, after which the goddess will be taken on a procession around the temple.
